Here is a picture of my new "homemade" incubator with new eggs. I am hoping they will hatch in time for the end of school so that I can post pictures of them here for you to see. Check back the last week of school as well as during the summer. I will be posting pictures of the hatching and the baby Cortunix Quail as they grow.
I will be visiting some museums and other interesting places this summer. Check back for pictures!
After reading your post on my blog (thismightgetugly.com)I just had to check out your homemade incubator and it's awesome! I wish I would have had the ingenuity to do this rather than spend all the money I did. You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had the ingenuity as well. I got the idea from this web site http://www.cyberquail.com/incubators.html.
ReplyDeleteThe only change I would make would be to use a plexiglass window instead of a glass one. I used the glass from a $1.99 picture frame. It's a bit "side heavy". The fan makes good ballast. Otherwise it would tip over!
